Dr. Peter Britton, D.C.

Dr. Pete’s passion is to help every person live a healthier, longer life.

Dr. Pete declares two words for his purpose in chiropractic… “To matter”

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Pete started his education at the University of Calgary majoring in Human Biology and represented the U of C Dinosaur football team as a running back. In 2006, he graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri as a Doctor of Chiropractic with additional certifications in Activator, Acupuncture and ART methods.

Dr. Pete takes a “whole person” approach in patient care, which means he looks for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Under his supervision and care, patients continue to report a higher functioning quality of life in many areas of their lives.

Dr. Pete creates the possibility of optimal health for his patients by releasing the body’s full ability to build, express and maintain health.

In his free time, Dr. Pete enjoys travelling, cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

“It is a privilege to have your body function at 100%” – D. Singer

As a pioneering North American acupuncturist, he founded and directed acupuncture training programs of the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Bastyr University in Seattle and was the founding president of the Acupuncture Association of Washington. He has additionally taught acupuncture and pain management courses and seminars at Meiji, Friends World College, University of Washington, City University (Seattle), Pacific Acupuncture College, and Southwest Acupuncture College.

Since 1984, Dr. Kitaeff has been integrating North American, European and Asian techniques of pain control, systemic detoxification, allergy elimination, and stress management.

Dr. Kitaeff enjoys jazz music and traveling with his wife.

Dr. Alyssa Lenox, D.C.

Dr. Lenox personally experienced the life-changing benefits of chiropractic when she sought treatment for severe migraines. In addition to relief from migraines, the positive impact on her mood, stress level, and sleep quality inspired Dr. Lenox to pursue a chiropractic education. She graduated from Life University as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Lenox employs a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care, emphasizing the identification and treatment of underlying causes of illness, discomfort, and pain, rather than focusing solely on symptom management.

Dr. Lenox’s treatment is gentle, specific, and results-oriented.

In her free time, Dr. Lenox enjoys reading classic sci-fi, playing board games with friends, and spending time with her wife and their rude and rowdy dog.

Kathleen Miller-Read, LMP

Kathleen grew up in Wisconsin, where she studied Massage Therapy. She was actually considering a career in music as a classical guitarist when she received a massage that made her feel so wonderful that she looked into acquiring the skill herself. Her teachers knew right away she’d make a rich career out of it.

In fact, she has served many roles in the American Massage Therapy Association over the years, including that of President. She has also been a strong advocate for massage therapists across the country, including improving legislation at state level.

Kathleen strongly believes in natural wellness, and notes that anything natural always seems to help her more than the Western medicine alternatives, with no side effects other than wanting more! She also advocates for prevention, commenting that the cost of holistic medicine is often lower in the long run than mainstream band-aid type approaches.

Kathleen lives north of Seattle with her husband TJ. She has had many dogs over the past 40 years, as she opened her heart and home to older dogs, the last of whom recently passed away. She hopes to be able to welcome another one very soon.

Heather Robinson, LMP

Heather was born and raised in Jamaica, but came to the US with her family as a teenager, first to San Antonio, and then to Seattle, where she raised six children.

She first became a nursing assistant, but after a while, the time came for a career change. Knowing she wanted to stay in healthcare, Heather looked into various careers, such as rehab and physical therapy, but eventually opted for massage, which she has been doing since 2003.

She likes holistic wellness, and specifically massage therapy, because she can see where it works with her very own eyes. This is especially clear to her when working with auto or work injury patients, who often have anxiety and trauma on top of their physical pain. “You can see their range of motion improving; their pain is lessened; their overall energy is increased; their muscles are not as tight; even their confidence level is higher,” she argues. “There’s no second guessing if what I’m doing works -I see the proof.”

Another reason she loves her job is because of the feedback she gets from her patients. “Knowing you’re loved and appreciated is what gives you the urge, the energy and the desire to come to work.”

In her spare time, Heather enjoys gardening, crocheting, cooking and dancing.

★★★★★
Excellent care, from the person at the front desk (very pleasant to all who were checking in, including myself), to my masseuse (Kathleen?) who had already read my intake form and asked clarifying questions as it was my first visit. She covered all area I had mentioned. I went here because it was on my insurance company’s list of cover d providers, and I’m glad I did.

I had my first massage with Heather and it was one of the best massages I’ve had! She worked through the knots on my neck and shoulders. The bed was heated and it went low enough for me to get on East (I’m 5’ tall). I also see Kathleen regularly and I love her! She uses lavender which I love. Sometime I feel chatty and we have the same vibe. Highly recommend them!

★★★★★
Most in depth chiropractic experience I've ever had. The focus isn't just on getting the cracks, but more of a holistic approach. We did some lazer therapy and after each session they would have me lay on a "bed" of ice or heat while a machine rolled my back out. It was great. The whole office staff is very nice and they ladies at the front always remembered my name when I walked it. 10/10 experience.

I had just gotten off the plane from the East Coast. I was in so much pain with Siatica. I called this office and they got me right in. Dr. Peter worked on me and was very thorough. I was able to enjoy my week with my son with little to no pain. I would highly recommend In Touch Chiropractic to everyone! The office is super friendly and better than anyone I have seen on the East Coast. Definitely the place to go if you’re in pain like I was!
