Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine is a groundbreaking field that focuses on restoring and healing damaged tissues and organs by stimulating the body’s natural ability to repair itself. Unlike traditional treatments that simply manage symptoms, regenerative therapies work at a cellular level to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and improve function. These innovative treatments offer new hope for patients dealing with chronic pain, injuries, and degenerative conditions.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell therapy harnesses the power of specialized cells that have the ability to develop into different types of tissues within the body. These cells can help repair damaged cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and even nerves. By injecting stem cells into the affected area, this therapy promotes tissue regeneration, reduces pain, and enhances overall recovery. It is commonly used for orthopedic injuries, joint degeneration, and other musculoskeletal conditions.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy

PRP therapy utilizes the patient’s own blood to accelerate healing. A small sample of blood is processed to concentrate platelets, which are rich in growth factors that promote tissue repair and reduce inflammation. When injected into an injured area, PRP stimulates the body’s natural healing process, making it a popular treatment for tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, and sports-related conditions. Since PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, it is a safe and effective option for enhancing recovery and reducing pain naturally.

Pre Stem Cell Procedure Instructions

Off natural anti-inflammatories 2-7 days before procedure:

  • NSAIDs

  • Turmeric, Curcumin

  • Omega-3 Fish Oils

  • Açaí Berry or Ashwagandha

  • CBDs for 1 week before and after human cellular tissue treatment for best results

Important Note: Stem cells respond better to inflammation.

For best results, try a raw vegan diet or an anti-inflammatory diet 3 days before your procedure.

If you have recently had a Corticosteroid (steroid) injection or treatment, please schedule your appointment for Stem Cell treatment 6 weeks from your last procedure date.

Dr. Berger recommends taking 325-650mg (1-2 tablets) of Tylenol depending on your preference before you come in.

Timeline – This is a Marathon, Not a Sprint

Some people feel better in days, others take weeks. You may fall anywhere in that Bell Curve.

Preparation: Eat a good meal and get a good rest before the procedure!

Pre Treatment Instructions for PRP

A few simple guidelines before your treatment can make a difference:

  • If you develop a fever, cold/flu, or develop a blemish, rash, etc. in the area to be treated prior to your appointment, you must reschedule (we will not treat you).

  • It is recommended, if you have a special event or vacation coming up, that you schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks in advance (preferably 3-4 weeks).

  • Discontinue use of anti-inflammatory drugs (steroidal and non-steroidal) such as Aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, (or any other Ibuprofen drugs) and anti-inflammatory supplements such as Turmeric, Curcumin at least 3 days to 1 week before your treatment.

  • PRP responds better to inflammation.

  • Please allow 6 weeks after Corticosteroid (steroids) use before a Stem Cell treatment to allow the steroid time to clear your body.

  • Discontinue use of the following examples of natural blood thinning agents such as Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s and DHA’s), etc. at least 3 days to 1 week before and after your treatment. Consult with your provider regarding discontinuing use of any pharmaceutical blood thinners.

  • It is recommended that you avoid Alcohol, caffeine, Niacin supplements, spicy foods, and cigarettes 3 days before and after your treatment. (All of these may increase the risk of bruising.)

★★★★★
Excellent care, from the person at the front desk (very pleasant to all who were checking in, including myself), to my masseuse (Kathleen?) who had already read my intake form and asked clarifying questions as it was my first visit. She covered all area I had mentioned. I went here because it was on my insurance company’s list of cover d providers, and I’m glad I did.

I had my first massage with Heather and it was one of the best massages I’ve had! She worked through the knots on my neck and shoulders. The bed was heated and it went low enough for me to get on East (I’m 5’ tall). I also see Kathleen regularly and I love her! She uses lavender which I love. Sometime I feel chatty and we have the same vibe. Highly recommend them!

★★★★★
Most in depth chiropractic experience I've ever had. The focus isn't just on getting the cracks, but more of a holistic approach. We did some lazer therapy and after each session they would have me lay on a "bed" of ice or heat while a machine rolled my back out. It was great. The whole office staff is very nice and they ladies at the front always remembered my name when I walked it. 10/10 experience.

I had just gotten off the plane from the East Coast. I was in so much pain with Siatica. I called this office and they got me right in. Dr. Peter worked on me and was very thorough. I was able to enjoy my week with my son with little to no pain. I would highly recommend In Touch Chiropractic to everyone! The office is super friendly and better than anyone I have seen on the East Coast. Definitely the place to go if you’re in pain like I was!
